Katoro is a combination of cement and sand
and it is an urban beach.
The beach has lifeguards, life-saving equipment,
first aid, catering facilities, recycable waste
facilities, playground for children, sport facilities,
renting facilities
The beach is located in the city of Umag,
surrounded by pineforest and extensive
green area, as well as recreational facilities
There are no sensitive areas nearby
The beach is separated by the green area
from the road, it can be accessed by
walkways suitable for disabled people, sea
access is secured by hand-holds.
The beach has information board with relevant
information, cooperation with local tourism board,
leaflets, posters, cleaning actions, water-saving
actions, etc.
The lifeguards are present from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
