Plaza Brioni, Beach located in Istarska county

BEACH ˝BRIONI˝

The beach is situated within the tourist zone Verudela around 6 km away from the center of city of Pula. It is located at the entrance of this zone and is long around 180 m. It is mostly made of rocks and partially flattened with stone panels.

The beach is equipped with facilities for disabled people and invalids

There are no sensitive areas nearby.

 The guards are on the duty from 10a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the whole bathing season (June1 to September 30). Lifesaving equipment is in the tower. All information about the lifeguards and equipment are available on the info panel..

One on the beach info panel is placed which contains information about: manager of the beach, Blue flag criteria, information about lifeguards and lifesaving equipment, results of water sampling, nearby cultural or other interesting areas to tourists as well as other relevant information.

Various eco-activities will be held at the beach, such as: municipal and recyclable waste collection and transportation, placing information on harmful effects of waste on the environment as well as signs for saving water and energy. There is also cooperation with Eco-schools in Pula. www.pula.hr
