Plaza "Jert", Beach located in Primorsko-goranska county

 

Beach “Jert” is an urban pebbly/concrete beach located in the west part of City of Krk in a place called Pinezici. Pinezici lies around 10 km from the City of Krk. Beach concessionaire is Vecla Ltd for performance of communal and port activities.

The beach has lifesaving equipment, first aid equipment, showers, drinking water, changing cabins, deck-chairs and parasols for rent, catering establishments, recycle bins and toilet block (male/female).

Car driving is not allowed on the beach, parking lot of cars is located outside the beach.

The beach has entrances at the east and south side where the side road leads to; access for pedestrian is free of obstacles. There are no sensitive areas nearby.

The beach and the municipality are focused on many environmental activities such as sea and shore cleaning, seabed cleaning, forestation, aeration of small forest and exhibitions in association with NGO and schools.
