Plaza "Pecine", Beach located in Primorsko-goranska county

 

The “Pecine” beach is a sandy/pebbly/rocky beach located in the settlement the settlement of Silo on the island of Krk. It is possible to arrive to the beach by car through the bridge that connects the island of Krk and the mainland or by plain on the seasonal airport of Krk.

The beach has life-saving facilities, first aid, shower, phone, changing cabins and recyclable waste facilities and facilities for disbled.

Access to the beach has been regulated by steps from the main road direction with special entrance for disabled.

There are no sensitive nearby areas.

The  beach participates in many activities on environmental education in cooperation with local schools and tourism board such as providing information on national parks, nature parks and protected species, nearby cave, water saving activities,  etc.
