Plaza "Dunat", Beach located in Primorsko-goranska county

Beach «Dunat» is urban beach that covers the coastal water and land strip near place called «Kornić» at south part of the City of Krk. Part of the beach is covered in pebbles and the rest is concrete. It can be accessed directly from the local road which is separated from the beach entrance by the ramp. The beach has life-saving equipment, first aid, facilities for disabled, sanitary facilities, showers, changing rooms, sport and catering facilities and facilities for receiving recyclable waste materials. Beach has two information boards with all relevant information.

There are no natural sensitive areas nearby. Environmental education activities include exhibitions, plantations and garden cultivation, children and adult workshops, sea and shore cleaning, afforestation, cooperation with kindergarten, primary and secondary school, diving, sailing and fishing clubs, citizen volunteers etc.
