Plaza "Kvarner" Lovran, Beach located in Primorsko-goranska county

The beach Kvarner is the main beach in municipality of Lovran, situated at the entrance to the municipality arriving from east. The beach is mostly made of sand and concrete. The beach has no sanitary facility for disabled people. Lifesaving equipment is placed in lifeguard towers. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The municipality of Lovranis settled beneath the Nature Park "Ucka" and information about park and conduct of the behaviour in the park are available on the information board. Access to the beach is possible from the main road through two entrances. 4 out of 5 environmental education activites will be held on the beach and the rest will be held in Primary school "Viktor Car Emin".
