Bijela plaza - Solaris, Beach located in Sibensko-kninska county

Bijela plaza is located within a major holiday resort,
Solaris, 6 km from the historic city of Sibenik, in the
central part of the Croatian coast. The beach is
700 m long and positioned in front of the Jure hotel,
one of 9 hotels within the Solaris resort. The beach
is suitable for children and non-swimmers, since
the water level is rather shallow and the beach is
covered with sand and fine stone. These features
make it also ideal for various sports and other
activities, so the beach is surrounded with
playgrounds, rental facilities and sport facilities.
Part of the beach is covered with grass and
autochtonous vegetation. The beach has sanitary
facilities, showers, changing cabins, phones,
children facilities, life-saving and first-aid
equipment, life-guards who are present from 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. The beach also has facilities for the
disabled.
The beach participates in local and regional actions
on environmental education in cooperation with
Eco-schools and tourism board, such as cleaning
actions and information about protected species.
The beach will display environmental information
on several boards, including the one in the camp
and on the beach itself.
