Plaza "Apartmani Medena", Beach located in Splitsko-dalmatinska county

Apartmani Medena is a resort beach belonging to an accommodation settlement in the municipality of Seget, 25 km from the city of Split. Seget is a municipality of camps and accommodation facilities. The beach is located within the resort and is 250 m long. It is mostly covered with sand, with smaller cement areas for sunbathing. The beach is surrounded with a long walking path that leads to the beach and is closed for traffic. The beach offers plenty of rich Mediterranean vegetation. The beach has numerous catering facilities with a wide choice of food and beverages, various sports facilities and playgrounds, changing cabins, showers, phones, life-saving and first-aid equipment, facilities for the disabled, etc. The beach also has a special device for purifying waste waters which significantly helps to preserve the nature. Life-guards are present from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.The beach coopeartes with local schools, fire department and tourism associations on various educational activities, including cleaning actions, maintaining the clean forest, presentations, safety demonstrations, etc. Leaflets and posters are also available and staff of the resort are being constantly educated on envrionment. www.apartmani-medena.hr
