Plaza Stomarica, Beach located in Splitsko-dalmatinska county

BEACH ˝STOMARICA˝

The beach is around 100 m long and covered in pebbles. It is stretched under the mountain Biokovo as well as the town in which is settled. It is accessible by walkway along the coast or by stairs that are sheer. The beach is not suitable for invalids because of the terrain, it is accessible only by foot.

There are no sensitive areas nearby.

The guards are on the duty from 10a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the whole bathing season (June1 to September 30). Lifesaving equipment is in the tower. All information about the lifeguards and equipment are available on the info panel..

One info panel on the beach is placed which contains information about: manager of the beach, Blue flag criteria, information about lifeguards and lifesaving equipment, results of water sampling, nearby cultural or other interesting areas to tourists as well as other relevant information.

Various eco-activities will be held at the beach, such as: municipal and recyclable waste collection and transportation, placing information on harmful effects of waste on the environment as well as signs for saving water and energy. There is also cooperation with local Eco-school. www.brela.hr
