Plaza hotela "Le Meridien-Lav", Beach located in Splitsko-dalmatinska county

The hotel "Le Meriden Lav" beach is located within the "Lav Le Meridien" hotel complex in the municipality of Podtsrana, 7 kilometers from town Split. The hotel is categorized with 5 stars and it is the only hotel of such category in Dalmatia. The beach is pebbled while there is petty sand in the sea. There is a walkway along the beach closed to mall motor vehicle traffic. Restaurants and bars can be found in the background of the beach along with the volleyball court, a tennis court and childen's playground. Access to the beach has been provided for disabled people and also ramp with handholds at the entrance to the sea.. The beach has  life-saving equipment, first-aid, facilities for disabled people, renting facilities, sport facilities, catering facilities, showers, changing rooms and facilities for receiving recyclable waste materials. Lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are no sensitive areas nearby. Beach has two information boards with all relevant information. It distributes leaflets, organizes cleaning actions, lectures for public, exhibition, cooperates with local school, etc.
