Plaza "Aquacity", Beach located in Varazdinska county

Aquacity is a freshwater beach, covered with

pebbles. It is an urban beach, located in the sports-

recreational center 3 km from the city of Varazdin.

The beach has lifeguards, life-saving equipment,

facilities for the disabled, first-aid, tennis court,

badmington court, playgrounds for children,

playgrounds for volleyball and football,

catering facilities, restaurant, renting facilities,

recyclable waste facilities.

The lifeguards are present from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

during the whole bathing season

There are no sensitive areas, beach is

located in a sport-recreational center with all

facilities. The center can be easily reached by a

road from the center of Varazdin and there is a

parking lot; beach itself  has a safe access from

the center (walkways) and it promotes bicycling.

The beach has information board with relevant

information, different environmetanl education

activities in cooperation with Eco-schools
