Plaza "Drazica" - Biograd na Moru, Beach located in Zadarska county
Drazica is a 319 m long pebbled urban beach located 10 minutes walking distance from the center of the city of Biograd. The beach is surrounded by a paved walking promenade and can be approached from that direction. Rich vegetation surroundes the promenade, so the beach has no direct exposure to the traffic. A parking lot is in the immediate vicinity of the beach. The region of Zadar is rich in natural sensitive areas, including 4 national parks and a nature park. Information about these areas can be obtained from the Tourism office and at the beach, however there are no sensitive areas in the immediate beach area. The beach has sanitary facilities, showers, changing cabins, facilities for the disabled, catering facilities, first- aid and life-saving equipment and life-guards. The life-guards are present from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The beach participates in local and regional actions on environmental education in cooperation with Eco-schools and tourism board, such as cleaning actions and information about protected species. The beach will display environmental information on several boards, including the one in the camp and on the beach itself. Date of flag hoisting: June 5 (unless a criterion has not been met)
