Plaza "Malo jezero", Beach located in Zagreb City

BEACH ˝MALO JEZERO˝

The beach ˝Malo jezero˝ is 180 m long and covers an area of about 1800m². Lake Jarun is settled in Zagreb and distance from the beach to the nearest tram station is around 2 km, and the nearest parking area is around 200 m far. The beach is made of pebbles. Lifeguard service and doctor-on-duty throughout the swimming season from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Since this is very popular destination beach has different services and facilities from sport to leisure. The whole area is well organized and clearly zoned. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the beach.

One on the beach info panels are placed which contains information about: manager of the beach, Blue flag criteria, information about lifeguards and lifesaving equipment, results of water sampling, nearby cultural or other interesting areas to tourists as well as other relevant information.

There are numerous eco-activities that are organized through out the season from activities to publications and all sorts of events. Also, important eco dates are always marked with some kind of promotion material or activity.
