The beach of Agios Gordios  is situated in the west of the island and is a resort beach. Only 16 kms away from Corfu town Agios Gordios is a lovely sandy beach with a fine combination of mountain and sea.

The most important environmental activities are seminars, lectures, photo and writing competition, drawing competition, visits from school children to the beach, many cultural events during the summer such as folklore dances and many greek danses night from many local tavernas.

In the wider space of coast there are a lot of facilities, like rend a car, bike, do some marinely sport, scuba diving center and parapente.

Someone can also visit the nearby traditional villages of Pentati and Kato Garouna and walk in the lovely nature. A number of hotels and rented rooms are situated in the area.

Our Beach has a length of 500 meters and a width of 40 meters.

      The natural environment of the beach  does not consist rare kind of animals or plants. The flora is rich and consists mainly of olive trees, cypresses, fruit trees and several kinds of bushes. The fauna consists only of domestic animals.

The visitors have the following possibilities in order for them to reach  the coast:

1. The green buses which leave from the center of the city at 8.15,   9.15,10.45, 13.00,14.45,17.00, 20.00

2. By car in 20 minutes from Corfu town.
