Ag. Nikolaos, Beach located in Dodekanisa

Agios Nikolaos beach is located in the south-western department of Karpathos, the second largest island in the Dodekanese - after Rhodes,  situated between Crete and Rhodes, in the Karpathian Sea.

 

The main characteristic of the island is the unique variety of the scenery. The transition from scenery to another and the changes of colours and shapes are frequent and unexpected and never make the visitor feel boredom or monotony.

 

Agios Nikolaos for example is a 250 m white sandy beach between two rocks as pictured in the photo. It is 14 km away from Pigadia, the capital of Karpathos, and 1 km away from Arkasa, a real small town, with rapid development in each sector and specifically in the agro-tourism but also with natural beauties and very old memories.

 

Arkasa has a lot of hotels, rented Apartments and rooms, motor vehicles for hire and other amenities that you can say that nothing is lacking from Arkasa.
