Ammos, Beach located in Dodekanisa

Ammos beach is located in the south-eastern department of Karpathos, the second largest island in the Dodekanese - after Rhodes, situated between Crete and Rhodes, in the “Karpathian Sea”.

 

The main characteristic of the island is the unique variety of the scenery. The transition from scenery to another and the changes of colours and shapes are frequent and unexpected and never make the visitor feel boredom or monotony.

 

Ammos beach is a 1000 m sandy beach and only 10 minutes walk away from the capital of Karpathos, Pigadia. So, in the immediate vicinity are hotels, restaurants, rent a car/bike shops and other amenities.
