Ammoudara 1, Beach located in Irakleio

Hotel Agapi Beach in  Ammoudara,  11 km from Heraklion,  is a  four star resort hotel located next to a sandy beach which is 250 mtr. long and has a width of 20-50 mtr.

The environmental education facilities in this hotel are done by conferences, seminars, lectures, clean-up activities, drawing competitions, photo competitions and a lot of activities have been organized by the “Green Team”, a group of employees of Agapi Beach, which is there to improve and give new inputs of how to help the environmental activities in the hotel and inform their guests.

 Agapi Beach offers several facilities such as; sport facilities, rent a car, rent bikes and bicycles.

The complex is surrounded by a lovely garden and the sand dunes that you’ll find in front of our beach give this hotel something special.

There are a lot of salttrees and we have also protected plants that you’ll find in the sand dunes, like for example; “lily of the beach” & “Glacium Flavum”.

Ammoudara area has a lot of hotels and apartment complexes, and guests from other facilities can reach this resort beach easily by following a path from the main road.
