Adelianos Kampos A, Beach located in Rethymno

Grecotel Rithymna Beach is set on a 500m long
pebble/sandy beach. The hotel is situated in an out
of town rural area. Just a short distance away are
many bars, restaurants and a small shopping area
with local supermarkets etc.Environmental
activities include our Green Team aiming at
educating our Staff and clients on Environmental
Protection by organizing seminars, and lectures,
clean-up drawing competitions, Botanical walks
through the hotel grounds for our guests, Agreco
Farm which grows organic vegetables, we use
solar systems for heating water, special bins
separate for paper in each department of the hotel
as well as for aluminium, used batteries and glass
placed in various areas of the hotel. We support
the Caretta Caretta Sea Turtle by protecting our
beaches especially during the egg-laying period
when we also ensure that no spotlights are on at
night and that balcony lights are closed. Beach
chairs and sun loungers are collected early in the
evening and guests are asked to avoid the special
egg laying areas. Our hotel is also a Blue Flag
award winner. An environmental leaflet listing our
activities is enclosed herewith.Sea sports are
available at the beach such as sailing, parasailing,
water ski-ing, etc. Car hire, Rent a bike and
excursions are also available from the
Reception.Our hotel has some bungalows situated
directly on the beach with a grass vergeThe beach
in front of the hotel is 500m long and 40m wide
with flora such as sea daffodils and Oleander and
Tamaris trees.Our beach can be reached from any
part of the hotel itself or by using the local paths to
