Ballyheigue, Beach located in South-West IRL
An extensive sandy beach. The beach is within a
designated Special Area of Conservation. Beach
runs from the village of Ballyheigue southwards
for over 3km as far as Black Rock or to the outlet
from Lough Akeragh. The beach is lifeguarded
June to August 12-7.
From Tralee, take the R551 north to the town of Ballyheigue.
