Golden Strand, Beach located in West
Exposed shore with a sandy substrate. The upper
limit of the shore consists of large pebbles. The
presence of gently sloping sand dunes along the
headlands have been colonised by many different
plants.
The beach is located approx. 3km east of Doogort village on Achill Island. It si lifeguarded from 12-6.30 July and August.
