Mulranny, Beach located in West
A popular sandy beach located south-west of
Mulranny village. The area has an important stand
of Mediterranean heath. The machair sand plains
and saltmarsh are of interest and the area is rich in
flora, fauna and birdlife. Access ramp to the beach
available. No disabled toilets. Lifeguards are on duty 12.30-6 daily July and August.
From Westport take the N59 north passing through Newport and continuing to Mulranny.
