Old Head, Beach located in West

Sheltered beach with sandy substrate. Sheltered
by cliffs and woodland. The beach is located 16km
west of Westport. Croagh Patrick is within close
proximity which is a natural feature of great
interest. Access ramps to the beach are available
together with disabled toilets for visitors. Lifeguard
is on duty 12.30-6 daily July and August. Renting facilities
and guesthouse accommodation are located within
close proximity to the beach.
