Cala Molins

Cala Molins, Beach located in Baleares

·       Fine Sand.

·        Wild Beach.

·       Life saving timetable: June 15th-Octuber 30th. Daily from 10 am till 5 pm.

·       Near natural sites: The Formentor peninsula belongs to a great coast area declared as a Special Protection Area for  birds (ZEPA).

·       Beach location: In  northeast of  Mallorca Island. It belongs at the same time to the Northern slopes of Formentor peninsule.

·       How to get to the beach: Take the main road from  Pollença to “Puerto Pollença”, .At  few kilometres, a secondary road will be found at the left side of the road indicating “Cala Sant Vicenç”. This secondary drives you until Cala Barques, Cala Carbó, Cala Molins and Cala Clara.

·       Environmental education and other facilities: There is no environmental services at Formentor beach due to its natural character but information abaout the natural features of the area can be found on posters placed at the beach. More information about protected areas or natural paths can be given at the Tourist Information Offices of Pollença Down Town.
