How to get to the beach: this beach is in Vigo Bay, in the Municipality of Cangas, in the Parish of "o Hio". From Cangas the PO-315 roads leads us towards "o Hio".


Other aspects: the beach is mark out buoys, so you can swim whithout any problem. There is also a "library beach" where you can get information about Cangas, read newspapers or connect to internet for free.

Near natural sites: Dunes Complex of Nerga, Barra, Areabrava y Liméis; Vilariño and Masso Lagoon; Costa da Vela, Barra, Nerga y Cabo home belongs to nature net 2000.


There are in the municipality big panellings with enviroment information: some of them located in a view point called "Balcon do Rei" that inform us about planting indegeneus trees on; some are located in the protect area of Nerga, Barra, Cosa da Vela; and others are situated in Vilariño Laggon, that inform us about the flora and fauna of the area.

Besides these, there are panelling all along the nature net area that inform us about the enviroment.

From 1st-July to 12th –September, lifesaving and
first aid equipment and staff on duty on the beach
are assured. Bathing water quality and beach
services are still present in almost all Spanish Blue
Flag and Canary Islands for a wider period.
