How to get to the beach: rustic beach in a protected a natural landscape area on the south of Costa da Morte. The nearest road is the road linking Arteixo-Caion.
Lifesaving timetable: from monday to sunday from 12 to 20 hours, from 1 july to 31 august.
Near natural sites: “A SAÍMIA”: “A Saímia” is located in the area of Anllóns, an area of great natural beauty, which provides water for the municipality. The Anllóns river courses through this important natural location, which was a famous spot for salmon fishing, and which has a mill dating back more than 400 years.
“INSUA”: Another important natural AREA IS “Insua” cove, located at the mouth of the Anllóns river. A strip of sand divides the Anllóns river estuary in two. Almost
2 kilometres of sand dunes (of an average with of nearly 400 metres) mass on both sides of the estuary. This natural area of great beauty and ecological value covers a surface area of more than one thousand hectares and is rich in migratory and winter-visiting birdlife. In the final kilometres of the Anllóns river eels, lampreys, sea trout, salmon and trout can be seen and captured.
