Brightlingsea Beach, Beach located in East of England

Situated next to the historic Bateman's Tower landmark on the town's western promenade, this small and quiet family resort has a gently shelving sand and shingle beach.  The adjacent car park offers direct access.  Activities available along the promenade include children's paddling pool, café, open air swimming pool and skateboard park.  The greensward also has a large boating lake.  The resort enjoys panoramic viws of Brightlingsea Harbour, a noted yachting centre and the River Colne famous for its oyster fisheries.  Enjoy a stroll along the riverside walk to Alresford Creek.
