Lowestoft South of Claremont Pier, Beach located in East of England
Locally referred to as Victoria beach, this expanse of fine golden sand is the main resort in North Suffolk. Recently revived with some impressive attractions, Lowestoft South now has a modern visitor centre, refurbished seafront and promenade and an attractive pier. A popular events area has been established at Royal Green next to the promenade providing various children's activities and boasting a new golf garden. Brightly painted beach chalets cheerfully line the area where there is something on offer for all the family, including amusement arcades, bowls, tennis, and a wide choice of water sports. Less than three miles away is the Pleasurewood Hills theme park with its exciting choice of thrill rides and family attractions.
