Whitley Bay , Beach located in North East

A traditional English seaside resort incorporating more than a mile-and-a-half of golden sand punctuated by several rocky outcrops. Bordering the northern end is a nature reserve, and the landmark St Mary's Lighthouse. The beach is backed by a variety of leisure amenities including mini golf, pool, shops and restaurants. Weekend evenings can be wild and the seafront is best avoided if you are after a quiet drink or meal.
