Hayling Island West Beach, Beach located in South East

The beach is made up of shingle banks interspersed with sand dunes. Vast sand banks are exposed at low tide. A wide grassy and natural expanse separate the beach from the road. This whole area has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Local shops, cafes and amenities can be found close by. A free children's adventure playground, beach volleyball court and skateboard park add to the entertainment. There are also picnic benches, fixed barbeques and boardwalks for use by visitors and residents alike.
