Bournemouth, Fisherman's Walk, Beach located in South West

This feature-laden beach is a firm favourite with families. It provides good bathing areas and is easily accessed via cliff lift, cliff paths or land trains from nearby Boscombe. The beach is sandy with some shingle and has no sudden shelves or rip currents. A range of facilities is provided and the attractive Southbourne Grove shopping centre is an easy walk from the cliff top through Fisherman's Walk ornamental gardens. Lifeguards and zoning of watercraft increases safety when bathing.
