Crooklets, Beach located in South West

If surfing's your bag, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to rideable waves.  The beach forms part of a large bay surrounded by gently shelving cliffs and is popular, not only with those in search of the perfect wave, but also with families looking for a good day out.  The nearby town is a lively affair with plenty of good pubs, clubs and shops . An annual Bude festival takes place on the 3rd Saturday in August and the Bude Jazz Festival on the August Bank Holiday.
