Poole, Sandbanks Peninsular, Beach located in South West

A family friendly beach that slowly and gradually slopes away, ensuring it is safe for even the smallest of children. The fine golden sand and excellent array of facilities make it very popular in the summer months. Access for the disabled is very good and special sand wheelchairs are available. A wide selection of activities is on offer including, crazy golf/putting, beach shop, and a range of watersports including windsurfing, sailing and paddle boats. Seafront cafe and other food outlets are situated along the promenade. A marked swim zone and a lost children patrol add to the safety of the beach. Lifeguards are on duty between May and September.
