Porthminster, Beach located in South West
Porthminister is the ideal beach for families with safe bathing at all states of the tide. The backdrop of palm trees and sub-tropical shrubs provides a Mediterranean atmosphere, as does the popular beach restaurant, which is often visited by artists who live and work in St Ives. The sand is of particularly high quality, as evidenced by the sand sculptors who regularly visit this sheltered beach.
