
Scarborough North Bay, Beach located in Yorkshire
The North Bay at Scarborough is a pleasant sandy beach ideally suited to families. The ruined Norman castle at the headland stands 150 feet above the harbour, dominating the skyline. The Sea Life Centre is only a short walk away and has become one of Scarborough's most popular attractions with its large tanks displaying the ecology of the North Sea, an underwater walk and a hospital for rescued seals. Nearby is a miniature railway and elegant park with a lake.
