Kelly's Beach, Beach located in Eastern Cape

Welcome to Kelly's beach, in Port Alfred (the Kowie) situated in the "heart of the Sunshine Coast" on the eastern coast of South Africa.  The Kowie, is equidistant from the Province's major cities of East London and Port Elizabeth (150km).  The beach is managed by the Ndlambe Municipality Environmental Conservation section, that is one of the strongest local government conservation bodies in the Eastern Cape Province. Kelly's beach is situated 1,5km from the Kowie River estuary mouth and its famous piers.  It is a 400m long sandy beach in the east.  Come visit our beach for the two viewing decks to watch the bathers, the whales and the perfect summer sunsets.   Come try our waves that will carefully lift you off your feet and, during perfect conditions, gently drop you down to meet the sandy bottom.   The beach is comparable to beaches in Scandinavia and is well-worth a visit.  Kelly's offers 5 star facilities and a wonderful experience to holidaymakers.  Interpretive boards along the beach will inform about some of the unique characteristics of this wonderful beach.  For more information visit:  www.ndlambe.co.za
