Beaches Park, Beach located in Toronto
Sandy beach along Toronto's eastern waterfront, contiguous with Woodbine Ashbridges Bay beach. Close to residential area and many amenities, including playground for young children. This is an urban beach and easily accessible from downtown hotels. Lifeguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30 with first aid equipment available on site. Part of the Discovery Walk educational tour. Access to beach by the Queen St. #501 streetcar, dismounting at Woodbine Avenue and then walking south. By car, the entrance to the parking lot is located on Lakeshore Blvd East, just west of Woodbine Avenue. www.torontobeach.ca
