Woodbine Ashbridges Bay, Beach located in Toronto
Large sandy beach along the eastern shore of the Toronto waterfront, contiguous with Beaches Park beach. Close to residential area and many amenities. This is an urban beach and is easily accessible from downtown hotels. Mixed use beach includes volleyball nets and playground for children. Lifeguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30 with first aid equipment available. Part of the Discovery Walk educational tour. Access by the Queen St. streetcar #501, dismounting at Woodbine Avenue and then a short walk south. By car, the entrance to the parking lot is located on Lakeshore Road East just west of Woodbine Ave. www.torontobeach.ca
