Ag. Gordios, Beach located in ACHILLION
The beach of Agios Gordios is situated in the west of the island and is a resort beach.
The most important environmental activities are Seminar, Lecture, Photo and writing competition, clean up drawing competition, e.t.c.
In the wider space of coast there are a lot of facilities, like rend a car, bike, bicycles, marinely sport, diving center e.t.c. A number of Hotels and rented rooms are situated in the area.
Our Beach has a length of 600 meters and a width of 20 meters.
The natural environment of the beach does not consist rare kind of animals or plants. The flora is rich and consists mainly of olive trees, cypresses, fruit trees and several kinds of bushes. The fauna consists only of domestic animals.
The visitors have the following possibilities in order for them to reach the coast:
1.The green buses which leave from the center of the city at 8.15,9.15,10.45,13.00,14.45,17.00, 20.00
2. By car in 20 minutes.
