Plaka, Beach located in AG. NIKOLAOS
The beach is situated at Plaka Village at a distance of 3 Km from the Touristic Resort
of Elounda, exactly opposite of the Touristic attractionof the Island of Spinalonga and
in front of the Blue Palace Resort & Spa.
It is 320 m long and with a windth of approximately 30m.It is a beach with pebbles and with the typical flora of the area which consists of low bushes. The wider area is also used for fishing.
Because of the Hotel there is a Water Sports facility on the Beach used by the guests of the Blue Palace Resort & Spa.
Access to the Beach can be obtained through the Hotel ( wooden passages, ramps for the handicapped e.t.c. ) or through passages on both sides of the beach that give direct
access to it.
On the Beach we can organise Lectures ,Cleaning ups, Photo competitions,
Drawing competitions e.t.c.
