St Andrews East Sands, Beach located in Fife
This beach lies to the south-east of the harbour and is very popular with visitors to the nearby caravan park. It is a popular destination with surfers and sailors. There are plenty of activities for children in the area - including some fascinating rock pools. Adjacent to the beach is the East Sands Leisure Centre.
Access: From the centre of St Andrews take the Crail road south. Opposite the St Andrew Memorial Hospital a road to the left takes you down to the beach. The nearest railway station is at Leuchars.
