Ouranoupolis is the last town before the Vineyard
of the Virgin Mary of Mount Athos. Xenia
Ouranoupolis was built here in 1963 by the great
Greek architect and Professor of the National
Technical University of Athens, Konstantinidis.
Renovated in 1995 by PAP Corp the building is an
architectural marvel. With its structured lines,
following the Greek tradition of moderation and
harmony the Xenia Ouranoupolis captivates guests
at first sight. Built on one of the area's most
beautiful sandy beaches, right on the waterfront,
in a luxuriant green landscape of olive groves and
flowers, this cluster of bungalows and main
building, consisting of a total of 40 rooms,
immediately impart a sense of absolute freedom
within nature. The beach is easy to reach by steps
or path. The friendliness and discretion of the hotel
staff further enhances the feeling of welcome and
warmth. The Xenia's balconies overlook the
beach where children can play safely, and the
fresh sea air and the sound of waves lull guests to
sleep at night. Clear moonlight nights are ideal for
evening strolls or a cocktail by the pool. The

visited on Xenia's private ferry, Megalexandros, or
visits to Amoliani Island and the Agionissi Resort
can be arranged by renting boats, where baby
dolphins often escort visitors to the shore. A two-

birthplace of Aristotle at Stagira, the cultural Centre
of Arnaia, and the magnificent Mount Athos are
