Centre Island Beach, Beach located in Toronto



This sandy beach is located in the heart of Toronto Island. A perfect family beach, liefguarded daily from 11:30 to 18:30 with first aid available on site. All necessary amenities are available next to the beach. Take the Centre Island Ferry from the Mainland Ferry Terminal and follow the signs to the beach. 

Toronto Island Ferry Service
The Toronto Island Ferry operates frequent service from Mainland Ferry Terminal to the landing at Hanlan's Point, Centre Island and Ward's Island ferry docks on the Toronto Islands.  Located at the intersection of Bay Street and Queen's Quay West, the Terminal is just a few blocks from Union Station along the waterfront and close to many hotels.

The trip from the mainland to each island dock is about 15 minutes, with ferry departure times varying depending on the destination. Bicycles may be taken on the ferry, although some restrictions apply during peak period. A return-trip cash fare is collected at the terminal, and special group rates and advance ferry tickets are available. For departure times call (416) 392-8194.
