Sennen Cove , Beach located in Penwith District Council
The west-facing beach of Sennen Cove enjoys good surf and spectacular sunsets. Grassy hills and sand dunes planted with marram grass roll down to meet the white sand of this popular beach which attracts families and keen surfers. For the novice there is a surf school alongside the beach. The Sennen Cove lifeboat provides a dramatic reminder of the power of the Cornish seas, but the towering Cape Cornwall and Brison Rocks presents a natural breakwater that offers safe bathing areas on this dramatic beach which is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
