
Montrose, Beach located in Angus
Montrose Beach boasts three miles of golden sand. The beach has ramp and step access and a short promenade with extensive car parking. The Seafront Splash - an adventure play area for children of all ages - provides an alternative to sea and sand when the tide is in. Complementing the beach is a family run cafe.
There are no lifeguards at this beach, but lifesaving equipment is available all year and first aid provision is provided during July and August. A number of educational walks, led by rangers, have been organised for this summer.
Access: Located on Trail Drive, East Links the beach is well sign posted from the Montrose A92 Arbroath - Aberdeen road. It is a short distance from the centre and public transport links.
