Clonea is a long sandy beach (over a mile long) located approximately 5km outside of Dungarvan in the south east of Ireland. The beach is wide and is gently sloping. The views from the beach and the scenic walks along it have contributed to the popularity of Clonea over the years. The beach area is lifeguard patrolled throughout the bathing season (check lifeguard times on information notice board at the beach).
